Special weeks and days in Britain

Harvest Festival l Halloween l Bonfire Night l Remembrance Sunday

We have created a calendar of the awareness days and weeks in Britain. Not everyone in Britain will take part in all of these events. The calendar below is useful for teachers planning assemblies or other people planning events on a theme. It is a good starting point point for interesting ideas for assemblies as well as using our Religious Festivals Calendar.

All our calendars are work in process as we are constantly checking and updating them all the time. We collect the data for our calendars from various websites on the internet, from teaching magazines and from the organisations themselves who email us with the dates of their events.
