You are on our History Tour. Our History tours are divided into several short sections. This section of the tour contains photographs of what our school looked like way back in the 1960's, when it was first built.

The aerial view photo on this page, shows the two Woodlands Schools during the 1960's. The building on the right is the Junior school and the Infant school is to the left.

Much has changed since the photo was taken. There is no extension to the main office block which we now know as the staffroom. (This extension used to house the art and craft centre which had a kiln.)

Only the two Cedarwood classrooms are in place. We have two new mobiles now, built along side the grassy area next to the playground.

The two Cedarwood classrooms, bottom right hand corner of the junior school, housed the school during the first year of existence. This was because when we first moved onto the site the main teaching and office blocks were not completed. What we now know as Class 9 (Class 10 until 2000) used to be where the staffroom, Head's Office, main office and a classroom was. There were also classroom rooms in our Opportunity centre, Music Room and Class 10 (Class 9 until 2000).
