Tonbridge is a market town in the English county of Kent and has a population of approximately 30,340.

It is located on the River Medway, about four miles north of Tunbridge Wells, 12 miles south west of Maidstone and 25 miles south east of London.

The history of Tonbridge goes back thousands of years to a time when there were no cars, buses and trains and the area consisted of only a few wooden huts.
