Wherever Tui went in the school
she was greeted by children
doing the Thai wai. It was
very impressive to see groups of children using the wai. Tui
was amazed by how much the children had remembered about the
correct way to greet a person from Thailand. Not only did they
wai her, thus showing great respect, they also spoke simple words
using the Thai language. |

- Tui was very popular with
our students. Many spent their break times learning Thai crafts
and talking with Tui.

- Tui presented our school with
the flowers shown in the picture to the left.

Tui brought over with her many activities
to do with our children. The children learnt to weave 3-D fish and also made key ring
balls, made from beads cleverly strung together. |

Tui first taught a small group
of children to weave the 3-D fish. These children then showed
other class mates how to make them. |
